My name is Kayla, and I’m a recent graduate of Harvard University, where I majored in History and Science and minored in Chemistry. I am currently taking a gap year as I apply to graduate school and work on various projects. I am also a graduate of Eagle River High School, where I was valedictorian in 2021. I am looking for new tutoring clients this fall and work with students from middle school through the undergraduate level.

I have nine years of tutoring experience, both independently and through reputable private tutoring companies, such as Princeton Tutoring and Ringle. I scored a 1500 on the SAT entirely through self-study and was admitted to multiple Ivy League universities without the assistance of a college counselor or tutor. I now want to make the knowledge I gained through that process more accessible to other students. I also worked as a teaching assistant (TA) in Harvard’s Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology for four semesters, assisting in the instruction of general chemistry and integrated chemistry/physics courses.
